Some essentials we believe…

We believe… in the one living and true God, creator of all things, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Him alone we worship, and in Him we put our trust.

We believe… that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He became man, lived on earth in perfect love and obedience, died upon the cross for our sins, rose again from the dead and lives for evermore, Saviour, Judge and King.

We believe… the Holy Spirit is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation, providing power for living, and guidance in doing what is right.

We believe… in the Bible as God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.

We believe… that humanity was created in the image of God, but when Adam chose to sin, sin entered into human nature and humanity became alienated from God. This alienation affected all relationships; with God, with others and within oneself, so that human beings were set adrift from their original purpose.

We believe… that salvation from sin and its damaging effects is the gift from God to human beings by grace and through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is God’s process of restoration which begins the moment a person receives Jesus and continues to the Day of Resurrection when restoration from all effects of sin is complete.

We believe… that our whole lives are intended for glorifying God.
